Our theatre camp for junior high and high school students aged 13-18 enters its 11th year! Learn acting, stagecraft, and more from some of the most creative theatre professionals in Colorado Springs.

The teachers you will be working with at the SET Drama Day Camp bring with them vast and varied experiences in theatre, film and television. Springs Ensemble Theatre Members have worked as professional Actors, Directors, Technicians and Producers in New York, Denver, and various theaters across the country and around the world.
In addition to their work with Springs Ensemble Theatre, SET members have been a part of many local theatre productions, including:

Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center:
Shakespeare in Love, White Christmas, Shrek, Bye Bye Birdie, Androcles and the Lion, Guys and Dolls, Wizard of Oz, Dracula, and others.

Macbeth, American Prom, Oklahoma, Much Ado About Nothing, Girl of the Golden West, and others

Star Bar Players:
God of Hell, Marate/Sade, Quake, and others

Theatre D’ Art:
Angels in America, Short Eyes, Three Sisters, Marat/Sade, A Clockwork Orange, and others

Millibo Art Theatre:
The Crucible, Six Women Playwriting Festival, and others

SET members have also performed in many film, TV, and web-based projects as well as numerous commercials and industrial spots.

Improvisation, Movement, Theatrical Makeup, Lighting, Monologues, Character Work & more!
The camp will conclude with a performance showcase in our intimate 50 seat black box theater that will feature our students’ work.
